Zygotes and Pyramids - The after hours session went on after-hours.
-
Return - An extremely old project that wasn't going anywhere. We decided to use it. End vocals courtesy of Jay Khamis.
-
It Won't Be Alright - Reminds me of sleep.
-
Green and Gold - I haven't had a sing for a while, so I thought I would. Heavy, but chilled out; I love how it rolls.
-
Flow-wo - After all this drum-bashing, we decided to chill out a bit. And this is the fruit of our... well, not labours - chill-out session. Have fun!
-
Frightened Rabbit Lost at Sea - Supposedly tells the story of a poor rabbit who strayed too far. Of course, drum 'n' bass was the only way to truly capture this.
-
The World is a PianoDrum - This makes me dance. Welcome the New Year in style!
-
A Storm's Lullaby - Nice to see the guitar-layering again. Haven't had that privilege since Woodlands. Enjoy, but don't go falling asleep on us.
-
Winter - An old school Khamis brothers tune, which I brought up to speed. Just a ditty really, but rather appropriate.
-
Underants - Our return to the world of music. Short and sweet with hefty beats... gaggle of geese...
-
1 Today - A journey to celebrate our orbit of the sun. Heavy beats and snazzy guitar - what more could you want?
-
Eyes - If you remember, Nick and I were talking about a "morning" tune. Birds singing, sunlight bursting through the trees, and ravers waving glow sticks!
-
Jigg'in C - I'd say it all fits together snuggly.
-
Spacey - Time travel, anyone? This is most probably the best drum programming I've ever done, and I'm as chuffed as a clown*. Check it.
*Such clowns do not actually exist. Everyone knows that real clowns are secretly depressed.
-
Member - An attempt at harmony... Harmony? Who do we think we are!? Heh, quite.
-
Harem of Voices Remixed - Better drums, remastered sound, more fun.
Harem of Voices - A collection of Nick-esque* phrases clumped together with a drum beat, catchy piano riff and Scuba Steve. Buckets of fun.
*That is, just to assure you, Nick did not sing all those phrases.
-
New Yorke - An attempt at jazzy drum 'n' bass. Pump up your sub and listen close.
-
Tarmac - A sort of vague, foggy journey through the law enforcement system. Well, make of it what you will, but don't knock it till you've tried it!
-
Soft - Poetry in motion... close your eyes and sway. Don't you just love acoustic guitar?
-
Shadows - An old tune that we revamped. It'll make you move your feet, with help from 90's synth and samples from Morrowind*.
*As explained in the 'Our Story' section, Bethesda Softworks weren't so keen on this.
-
Conversation Lull - Darker than your average cupboard. This one will scare you to pieces, just like Granny would, in 12 minutes* of pure genius and alcohol influence.
*Almost 12 minutes, as compressing the file unfortunately knocked 2 seconds off.. Somehow.
-
Woodlands - New drums, remastered. What better way to celebrate Autumn than with a peaceful walk through the woods? Lay back and enjoy the tune voted* the Friar's Tuck masterpiece of 2005.
*According to a poll held within the band, where both Nick and Doran were the only ones to vote.
Tunes In Progress:
All Our Pasture (temporarily dead) - ON HOLD
Shift (god knows) - ON HOLD
