Benjamin Geza Affleck was born to Tim and Chris Affleck on August 15, 1972. He lived in California until the age of two when he moved to Cambridge Massachusetts with his family. On Bens 3rd Birhday party brother Casey was born, (1975). Casey immediatly stole the spotlight from Ben, but eventually he would get it back in his first role. Ben's first role was in the TV movie "The Dark End of the Street", despite the common belief that his actual second movie, "Voyage of the Mimi", a PBS miniseries was his first role. He also played in "The Second Voyage of the Mimi" in 1988. It was around this time that Ben met future best friend Matt Damon, and the two began to search for a future in acting. They even used to hold lunch meetings on how to take the acting world by storm!Going into Bens teenage years he started to do commercials, including a commercial for Burger King. Bens personal life in his teenage years began to change, he started to lose focus on his goals for a while, and took to partying. Of course best buddy Matt Damon straightened him out. At the time he was dating his high school girlfriend, who he would date again later, Cheyenne Rothman.

Although Ben did recieve relatively good grades in school (about a high B average) he did not get accepted into Harvard, like Matt Damon did. Instead he followed his girlfriend to UVM (University of Vermont). But that didn't last long as he eventually ended up at the Occidental College in California. Ben tried to pursue his acting career, but it was not looking good. He started picking roles in movies that would not lead to much success, including "Daddy" in which he played the son in a Danielle Steel movie. He also took roles in "School Ties" and "Dazed and Confused". He also earned the starring role in the TV series "Against the Grain", but it was very short lived as the show was cut.

Eventually Ben gave up on Hollywood films, and began to think independant films. He got some roles in films including Kevin Smiths "Mall Rats" "Glory Daze" and "Phantoms". Eventually he picked up the script for Good Will Hunting, which is where he, and friend Matt Damon made it. Ben would do all the typing, as Matt could not type. They would go on trips and just brainstorm. Eventually, they came up with a script, that although it was nothing like the final script, it was a good one. Kevin Smith picked up the script and sent it to Miramax, to Harvey Weinstein. Everyone loved the script, and they were even allowing Ben and Matt to star! Eventually the movie picked up two big stars, including Robin Williams.

Ben sealed the deal on his fame when he co-starred in the $200 million grossing film "Armageddon" with Bruce Willis and Liv Tyler. Eventually offers were coming in everywhere, and Ben had made it big in the traditional rags-to-riches style.

To sum it up, Ben has conquered Hollywood, and basically all of his dreams. He has dated famous leading women including Gwennyth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, and is currently dating "Alias" star Jennifer Garner. You probably know him best from Bennifer, but as you can see, there is so much more to him.
